Biographical Sketch

Staff Sgt. Benjamin Hall serves as a demonstration parachutist on the Black Demonstration Team for the U.S. Army Parachute Team.

Hall enlisted in 2012 and attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Immediately after, he attended advanced individual training to become an Information Technology Specialist (25B) at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

His previous duty stations include Fort Bragg, North Carolina; where he served as a Local Area Network Administrator for the 1st Battalion 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. He also served as the Communications Sergeant, Tactical Local Area Network Technician and as the Information Systems Supervisor for 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group until his assignment to the United States Army Parachute Team in 2021.

Hall has one tour to Afghanistan and one tour to Syria. He has been awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, NATO Medal, Combat Action Badge, and the Senior Parachutist Badge.

Since learning to skydive in 2019, Hall has logged more than 540 free-fall parachute jumps and 39 military static line jumps. He also holds a USPA coach rating.

In his free time, he enjoys skydiving, playing video games, shooting and spending time with his family.
