Stops along the way
Sundays are for driving, with stops along the way. Today, we drove out to Cathedral City to meet up with Dave and Connie. We met a little Frenchie, whose name I don’t know. Ken and Bonnie, friends of Dave and Connie. Nina, a school teacher from Canada who sells beautiful necklaces at the art fair. Nina’s husband, Reno, not pictured here. Joe (?), also at the art fair, helping out his girlfriend at the drinking mask booth. He chased me down afterwards, having noticed my DoD business card. There’s another vendor at the fair who’s got old CIA stories I really ought to hear, and Joe would like to introduce me to him. But the gang is ready to roll, so next time, for sure! Billy Reed’s, open since 1975, which I believe is the last time I ate there. And then home to walk the dogs.
